We Recommend Booking About One Month in Advance
If your travel dates are already decided, we recommend making your reservation about one month in advance.
Kyoto is one of Japan’s most popular travel destinations, welcoming visitors from around the world throughout the year.
During busy seasons such as cherry blossom season, autumn foliage, the Gion Festival, and year-end holidays, many kaiseki restaurants become fully booked well in advance.
Booking early gives you the best chance of securing your preferred date and time.
We Recommend Booking at Least Three Days Before Your Visit
At Masumasu Masuda, every omakase course is prepared using carefully selected seasonal ingredients.
We purchase ingredients and begin preparations based on each reservation, so we kindly recommend making your reservation at least three days before your visit whenever possible.
Occasionally, last-minute reservations may be available depending on seat availability.
Please check our reservation page for the latest availability.
Private Reservations for Groups
Our restaurant is available for private bookings for groups of six or more guests.
Private dining is perfect for family celebrations, anniversaries, business dinners, or special gatherings with friends.
If you are planning a private event, we highly recommend contacting us as early as possible to reserve your preferred date.
Plan Your Dining Experience Along with Your Trip
When planning your visit to Kyoto, don’t forget to include your dining experience in your itinerary.
A memorable kaiseki dinner is often one of the highlights of a trip to Japan, and reserving early helps ensure a relaxed and enjoyable experience.
Experience Seasonal Kaiseki at Masumasu Masuda
